  1. Trust in You · Antoine Bradford

‘Cause when I trust in You,
I do the thing I was made to do,
To life a life that fully rests in You

I’m loving these faith-inspired beats by Antoine Bradford!

2. Wen Wei Chieh: Steadfast in Opposition

Irene Sun shares an account of an amazing woman of faith:

At 9 a.m. at a dock in Canton, China, Wen Wei Chieh waited. After six long years imprisoned by the Communists for her public witness as a Christian, she had finally been granted a permit to travel to Hong Kong. Only one thing stood between her and boarding the ship: the inspection of her baggage, in which was her Bible. When a fellow traveler urged her to toss it into the river, she answered, “If the Lord allows me to go, the Bible will cause no difficulty or trouble.”

3. Peace Be Still

I enjoyed this so much I requested for it to be published publicly, so that I could share it! Chris Thomas powerfully and poetically retells the story of Jesus calming the storm. This piece led me to worship.

4. COVID-19 Hit Christian Musicians Hard. Here’s How We Can Support Them.

In this Q&A, Christian artists—Melanie Penn, The Gray Havens, Sandra McCracken, Poor Bishop Hooper, Joy Ike, and Wilder Adkins—share their experiences of being an artist in the midst of COVID-19, what it’s like to create music in quarantine, and how we can best support them in this challenging season.

5. 4 Underrated Studio Ghibli Films With Themes of Common Grace

Christine Oh shares a no-spoilers post of underrated Ghibli movies that hold common grace themes.

6. 4 Ways Not to Be a Jerk Online

Matt Smethurst gives some timely tips: Scripture calls us to “honor everyone” (1 Pet. 2:17). Obeying that command has never been easy, but has it ever been harder than in our social media age?

7. Psalms of Justice

W. David O. Taylor writes: When we look to the Psalms…we discover that there is no true worship, faithful prayer, or genuine faith that neglects justice. No true account of God makes justice an afterthought to his redemptive work in the world.

8. Poor Bishop Hooper (Psalm 23)

I enjoyed this soothing rendition of Psalm 23. Also available on Spotify and added to my Hymns of Hope Spotify playlist.
